Character Biography: Little Mac

Little Mac!
Concept and Creation:
Little Mac was believed to be created and designed by Genyo Takeda, he was meant to be a very small character, thus having the name little mac, this was maybe to show that even a little guy can beat up big people or something along those lines. The character himself does not star in many games, however he has made cameo appearences in certain games.

Little Mac unlike the tougher later oponents, has limited fighting abilities such as just punching left and right. However he has a special uppercut move that can only be used once in the match. In the title, little mac wears a black shirt and has black hair. The title was very well received(placed 17th on Nintendo Power’s top 200 Nintendo games) and went on to sell over 3 million copies.

Little Mac was also believed to be in Super Punch-Out(1994) however, there is no true 100% confirmation of this, only a character that looks fairly similar to him and the fact that Fight Night Round 2 says he was in the game(however that was not developed by Nintendo). The title has various changes, such as graphics and the viewing angle. The title was well received, however it did not go on to becoming a million seller.
